Guillermo Amor, who is part of FC Barcelona’s management, has just confirmed that they have agreed with FC Bayern Munich on a loan agreement for Philippe Coutinho.
The Brazilian midfielder, who moved from Liverpool to FC Barcelona in the winter 2018, has had problems finding the form in the Catalan club.
This is why Coutinho has been offered to several clubs this summer as he is no longer part of Barca’s future plans. Several English clubs should have been given the opportunity to pick up the Brazilian, but when the transfer window closed for the English clubs on August 8, Coutinho was still to be found at FC Barcelona.
However, it now appears that FC Barcelona have agreed with FC Bayern Munich to get Coutinho on a loan. At least that is what Guillermo Amor, part of the sports operation in FC Barcelona, has just confirmed to the Spanish TV channel Movistar+.
– I can confirm that we have reached an agreement with Bayern Munich for Philippe Coutinho, which will be loaned out. However, the agreement still needs to be finalized. Coutinho is a fantastic player, but the circumstances mean he might leave us, Amor told Movistar+ according to Football Espana.
Amor was also asked about the Neymar rumors, to which he replied that anything could happen.
